Tuesday: "Your Weakness Is Not the Problem"

Devotional
We live in a world that rewards strength, confidence, and having it all together. So when we feel weak, broken, or overwhelmed, the natural response is to hide it. We think our weakness disqualifies us. But God sees it differently. Completely differently. Paul wrote that God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong. That is not a consolation prize. That is a strategy. God intentionally works through people who feel unqualified because when something remarkable happens through an unlikely person, nobody questions who gets the credit. Think about Moses, called at 80 years old with a speech impediment. Think about the disciples, ordinary fishermen who turned the world upside down. God did not wait for them to feel ready. He met them in their limitation. Your weakness is not a barrier to God using you. It is actually the canvas on which He does His most visible work. When you feel like you have nothing to offer, you are in exactly the right position for God to show up in a way that only He can. Do not disqualify yourself. God has not.
Bible Verse
"But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty." - 1 Corinthians 1:27
Reflection Question
In what area of your life have you been using your weakness as a reason to hold back, and what might it look like to offer that very weakness to God?
Quote
"Our weakness is the canvas on which God displays His almighty power."
Prayer
Father, I surrender the parts of me I have been ashamed of. Use my weakness as a display of Your strength and Your glory.
