THURSDAY: "You Cannot Love God and Ignore His Word"

Think about someone you love deeply. You want to hear from them. You pay attention when they speak. You remember what they say because it matters to you. That is what love looks like in any real relationship. Now consider this: God has spoken. He has given us His Word, and in it He has told us everything we need to know about who He is, what He values, and how He calls us to live. If we say we love Him but never open that book, something does not add up. Studying Scripture is not a religious duty to check off a list. It is how we hear from the God who saved us. It is how we grow in knowing Him. It is how our gratitude deepens and our faith becomes something real and rooted rather than shallow and fragile. The person who meditates on God's Word day and night is not doing it out of obligation. They are doing it because they have been transformed by grace and they want more of the One who gave it. You do not need a seminary degree to open your Bible. You just need a willing heart. Start small. Start today. God will meet you there.
