WEDNESDAY: "Rooted in the Gospel, Ready for Anything"

Everything we do as believers flows from one source: the gospel. The good news that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose again, not because we deserved it, but because of His grace, is not just the starting point of our faith. It is the fuel that keeps us going every single day. When we lose sight of the gospel, our faith starts to feel like a list of obligations. We serve out of guilt. We give out of duty. We show up out of habit. But when the gospel is at the center, everything changes. We serve because we are grateful. We give because we have been given everything. We show up because we love the One who showed up for us. This gospel-centered life also prepares us for whatever comes. When you know who saved you and what it cost Him, you are ready to disciple someone who is struggling, to love a difficult neighbor, to share your faith with someone who is far from God, or to stand firm when life gets hard. You are not just surviving. You are equipped. God has given us everything we need. The question is whether we are living from that place of gratitude or just going through the motions.

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for the gospel. Let it be the force that drives everything I do, not guilt or duty, but deep and genuine gratitude for Your grace. Keep me rooted in what You have done so I am ready for whatever You place in my path.
