Friday: "You Have the Greatest News in the World. Share It."

Devotional

If you found out that a storm was coming and you knew exactly where the only safe shelter was, you would not keep that to yourself. You would tell everyone you could reach. That is exactly the position we are in as followers of Jesus. We have been given the greatest news in human history. Not a self-help strategy, not a moral framework, but a living Savior who rescues, restores, and rejoices over the people He loves. Zephaniah's message was never meant to stay inside the walls of a church. It was a call to a watching world. And Jesus Himself was not indifferent to the people around Him. He moved toward the broken, the overlooked, and the lost. He calls us to do the same. You do not need a platform or a theology degree to share this hope. You need a willingness to be present with the people in your life and to point them toward the One who has changed yours. Someone in your world is in the middle of a storm right now. They may not know where the shelter is. You do. That is not a pressure to perform. It is a privilege to carry. Go carry it well this week.

Bible Verse

12 But I will leave in your midst a people humble and lowly. They shall seek refuge in the name of the Lord, - Zephaniah 3:12

Reflection Question

Who in your life is currently going through a storm, and what is one practical way you could point them toward Jesus this week?

Quote

Jesus was not indifferent to the world. Neither should we be.

Prayer

Lord, make me aware of the people around me who need hope. Give me the courage and the words to share what You have done in my life, and let my life be a signpost that points others to You. Amen.
