Monday: "Comfort in the Storm"

Life can feel overwhelming. Maybe you are facing a situation that seems impossible, or you feel forgotten in the middle of your struggle. Here is something worth holding onto: God has not forgotten you. Nahum is a book most people skip right past, but its message is deeply personal. The prophet's very name means comforter. Before a single word of judgment is spoken, God is already signaling His heart toward His people. He sees. He knows. He acts. When Assyria was crushing God's people, it must have felt like God was silent. But He was not. He was working. His timing is not our timing, but His faithfulness never wavers. That same God is your refuge today. Not a distant, indifferent force, but a personal stronghold who knows your name and your situation. Whatever storm you are walking through right now, you do not walk through it alone. He is with you, and He is for you.
