Welcome to the Cooperative Nursery

of

Bible Baptist Church

A Safe and loving environment for children, infants through two years of age

“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name,

welcomes me;

and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me

but the one who sent me.”

Mark 9:37

The nursery is available to children from infants to 24 months of age.

This service is offered during the Sunday School hour at 9:45 AM and

the second worship service at 11:00 AM.

Parents as well as nursery volunteers staff our nursery.

The purpose of our Parent’s Cooperative is to provide a safe,

nurturing environment where children can grow in the love and

knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, giving parent’s equal opportunities to

worship, fellowship, and learn while their children are cared for.

Why Have a Church Nursery?

Everything we do here at Bible Baptist Church is aimed at the

edification and salvation of souls.

Yes, our nursery plays a big part in reaching this goal.

Below are three of the reasons for having a Nursery ministry.

  • Babies are a wonderful gift and they capture the attention of all those around them. Even when they are quiet during service adults around them are amazed at their cute gestures and smiles. We want people in the congregation to hear and listen to every word sung or spoken in the service. We want every word grasped, for nothing is more important than the preaching of God’s word. Of course when children cry or make those adorable sounds they tend to distract those around them even more than usual.

  • Babies are more comfortable in their own place. They rest better, can be fed, changed and cared for in a more comfortable environment.

  • A Nursery allows parents or guardians to attend worship service but to also be available to participate in Sunday school and to serve in the many ministries of the church.
